I am wondering when a class action suit might be filed against Hughes Net. I, like so many others, had the entire system misrepresented to me when I agreed to a 2 year contract with Hughes Net. No one, at any time, ever mentioned the Fair Access Policy. Now, it really should not create a problem for we users, if we are prepared to do all of our downloading between 3 and 6 A.M., now why should we be upset? I am not upset I am furious.
It costs substantially more than dial up and we have been in the FAP mode when we believe no one was downloading anything. The company insists our records support that we were using it and caused FAP to be instituted. The company has undoubtedly oversold their system capacity so now they must limit the usage of their customers as opposed to increasing or improving the system. Good luck to anyone who signs up for this service. I would not recommend it to anyone!
