Last month my wife was searching for information on Grants. She stumbled onto a site that advertised for only $1.98, you could buy access to their website and CD chalk full of information and grantwriter. She bought it. Little did she know that she had to cancel within 7 days or she would be charged their monthly charge of $69.95. That qualified you to be enrolled into Ideal Wealth Builder for only $29.95 a month.
By the time I got our statement, over $100 had been taken out of our account. I called Ideal Wealth Builder and they have agreed to refund my $29.95, even giving me a refund number. We'll see in 3-5 business days if the refund is put back. If not, I will be writing another complaint.
However, Grant Funding search was not as helpful. Stiff necked, they have refused, stating "Terms & Conditions". Her is a company baiting people with the cheese of $1.98, but hidden away deep in the T&C is this little unseen charge. This is not the only complaint since I've been investigating this company. They refused a refund, but said they have cancelled the account and there would be no further charges. I even talked to a manager, Lisa Rias, and she declined. She was not very simpathetic and stuck to her guns as to not refunding a dime. So I do the next best thing, complain here, BBB and everywhere I can to warn anyone to stay away of Grant Funding Search or the like.
These guys are out of Henderson, NV. The BBB has rated them "F". That's the lowest rating in case you didn't know and are unsure if they are even licensed.
