Have you ever wondered where your things go when Worldwide Moving store your items?
On there website it seems like they have facilities all over the country. But, they are simply storing at a regular self storage place, and probably jacking up the rates. Now that is not so bad, most of them are quite nice, especially our place (sorry bias opinion). But, What happens when Worldwide stops paying for the unit? The storage company gets stuck with it, normally we would just auction the contents of the unit off and move on with business. But we can't auction the unit off knowing that the contents don't belong to Worldwide, that's just not right. Now my guess on why they have stopped paying for the storage unit is because the their customer stopped paying Worldwide to store the items. If this is true we should not be penalized, we are not in the moving business.
Worldwide should take the responsibility that comes with running a moving company and not hand it off to someone else. Worldwide should pick these items up and put them in their own self storage place, if they really have one. Basically, I have done this to show the code of ethics this company uses.
P.S. If anyone has their things held hostage by Worldwide Moving Systems in New Jersey please message me.
