I pay mother's bills. Among them was an invoice stating "we recently sent you one of our products packaged by the blind, visually impaired or handicapped individuals... We find we haven't received your payment", etc.
There is no indication of what the product was. Mother says she has received nothing. This invoice, dated 1/5, is for $159.87.
Interestingly, the company name is alarmingly similar to a Lifeline company who provides First Alert bracelets, etc. And does charge a fee to monitor their product. If mom falls she can press a button and a live person will respond to see if she is okay or needs help. The company who provides that service is not located in Alabama.
It is clear the ripoff company is trying to capitalize on that, hoping to confuse the consumer into thinking that's what the bill is for.
I am reporting to the BBB also.
