Outlandish ripoff late fees

We paid them money with a confirmation # and the name of the person who took it well they can't account for it and wants more money from us or we get late charge

With the pomotional balace we had I had paid them numerous times and they would continue to charge us for late fees and was not posting the payment on the account even though I had the checks back that they cashed, I had to constantly fight with these people to do their job they were doing a fine job at ripping us off and trying to take our money.

When we paid off the promotional balance I confirmed with Suzanne William that the account was indeed paid off in full, but however the following month I get another bill for what they say was insurnace and if I had known that was owing I would have paid it at the same time.

Well now I paid a payment with Tony Marshal on 2/27/03 toward the account with Tony Marshal and he informed me it would only take 24 hours to post to the account, I had also once again had to have him clear the finace charge that we should not have been charged for since they failed to inform us their was still a balance on the account.

Well the following month the next statement I get a late fee and finace charges and a past due amount. I could not belieave it I phoned them once again I talked to Freddine ext 4524 and she hung up on me then I talked to one of the supervisors and was informed that they have not posted the payment to the account because they don't know where it is the didn't cash it and can't account for it.

So they want us to replace that money pay again or if we do not they will rack up the late fee charges and it will go on our credit report.

They refuse to try and find the payment the took with even having a confirmation # they are telling us it's our banks fault even though they were responsible for taking the payment by phone. So they will have pocket our money becuase we don't have a choice but to pay them again to save our credit.

I am going to try and find a lawyler if anyone can help please let us know, I'm not going to let them get away with this without a fight. What they are doing is wrong and someone all of us have to stop it don't be the next victim of such ignorance lets fight them.
