To all who use handymen from craigslist. Beware of using this the handyman mentioned below for any home repair services. He will take your money/check and you will never see him again!!!
I found this fruaulent hanyman on craigslist under the category of household services. He calls himself John or John Michael and has California Drivers Licenses with names such as Ehab Kiriacou, or Ehab Kiriacou Antoun. The phone number he uses to correspond with people is 424-757-7757.
His M. O (Mode of Operation) is to come to your house and provide you a quote on a required job or tasks, and then after giving you the quote, he will ask you for half the money or a check so he can buy the materials to do your job. After you give him the funds, he will tell you that he will be going out to buy the materials and that he will be back in an hour. This will be the last time you will see of him! If you call him at 424-757-7757 (cell phone), he will not answer your phone call.
He will take your money and run, or take your check and cash it at a local bank (within a half hour after you give it to him) using the name Ehab Kiriacou, or Ehab Kiriacou Antoun. He must be using fake IDs and/or fake CDLs in order to accomplish this because the banks are cashing his checks? Note: He carries an expired CDL and a fake business card.
