Cheats Customers failed to repair a broken tool, then failed to repair the repair, accused me of lying

A couple months back I dropped off my Bosch reciprocating saw for a repair to the chuck which had broken. I picked the saw up a couple weeks later, and for $35 apparently repaired with a new chuck assembly... Though suspiciously it didn't work very well when I tried it out in the shop before leaving. I didn't attempt to actually use the saw for about a month and a half until I took it out of state for a big remodel job. The first time I took it out of the box and attempted to put a blade in the saw, the whole new chuck just fell apart into about five pieces. I was dumbfounded, and pretty irked. I had to borrow another guy's saw to get me through that job.
Several weeks later I got back home and took the saw back into M & M and told them the story. All told about three months had elapsed between when I picked up the saw originally and when I brought it back. Well they tell me that because I'm past their 30 day warranty, that they're not going to fix it again without charging me for a whole new part kit AND labor.
They basically accused me of lying, that they hear this all the time (makes you wonder...), and that's why they have a thirty day policy. What's more, they seem to have no record of the original transaction, (convenient). I asked them to be reasonable and not charge me twice for the same repair that they didn't really do properly to begin with. They were defiant... I spoke with both the owner and his son the general manager, and they were both astoundingly rude. I wondered how they could stay in business...
That's when I found other people had had similar experiences with these clowns. So I took my saw back and brought it to A-1 tool repair in Sandy who were awesome. Dale fixed my saw on the spot and didn't even charge me. He told me a few other stories about M & M and what jerks they are to customers. I, apparently, was not the first person to get that kind of treatment over there. I highly, highly recommend not buying any goods or services from M & M Tool & Machinery. They won't stand behind them.
