Lied and will not honor there contract

This company is not trustworthy and will never receive business from any of the people I come in contact with on a day to day basis (I am in the mortgage industry) big mistake for this company.

Well on June 6 sales rep Tim Sargen came to my door and asked if they could promote there services because I lived in a new subdivision on a corner lot. He asked if he would lower the cost of there service and provide me with the opportunity to cancel the contract by June 6 would I sign a contract with them allowing there company to place the sign in my yard. I agreed to do so.

Upon being charged several times a different amount that the contract states and the system going off at randam times of the day. My husband and I decided this was not for us and we decided to call and cancel the service. I called in September and spoke with Teresa and informed her that we no longer wished to have there service and that we were willing to pay for 1 more month but then would like the service cancelled.

At first she tried to tell me that I had to do this in writing but I quickly informed her that the contract stated I could cancel in writing or by telegraph which I did per our phone conversation. I was told my service would be cancelled and someone would contact me to follow up.

I never received a call from anyone so I called back in November as my husband realized we were billed again for services after it should have been cancelled. This call I spoke with Mary and informed her of what was happening and then it started to go down hill from there.

She informed me that we could not cancel our services because we were under contract. I explained to Mary that my contract allows me to cancel before June 6 and she said told me no it doesnt so I asked her to read it. When she too saw that I was correct she told me again that the service would be cancelled.

Now here I am in the month of December and we were billed again. When I called back I got who do you think of course Mary. I told her my service should have been cancelled in September and your company continues to bill me. My contract states I have the right to cancel. She said to me that she spoke with Mr. Ben Billingsly and he informed her my contract would not be cancelled that regardless of my contract stating I can cancel by June 6 the salesman Tim Sargen made a mistake and they are not willing to honor it. If I wanted to cancel I had to do so 3 days after the equipment was placed in the home.

Please people research all things even though it sounds great at the time it normally never is. Northstar will not get away with this. My service will be cancelled and they will honor there contract. Do I have the time to do this no I don't I work go to school and take care of 3 children but will I do this OF COURSE because if I don't they will think it is ok to continue to take advantage of families.

THIS HAS GOT TO STOP... I will tarnish there name on every website with the BBB and anyone I can think of. If you have complaints about this company please express them.
