I ordered item #TW4945 on 19 November and paid for the watch via Paypal. I sent a email to company several days later to inquire about shipping and was informed by email that "the factory has discontinued this watch. But, we have the following watch that is similar for only an additional $20. And asked whethe I would you like to upgrade to another mode"l? I replied to the email immediately requesting a full refund and was informed by email on 1 December "To process your refund, please let us know what method of payment you used for the original purchase (ie: paypal account or credit/debit card). When we received your order, paypal is our merchant account and to protect your privacy, we only received notification of the order with confirmed funds, not the payment method you used. It is not necessary to give us your credit/debit card numbers". Thanks, Steinhausen Overnight. I informed them that my method of payment was via Paypal but I have not received anymore emails in response to this one—although I have sent four more emails since then. Since this company has no valid contact number to reach a live representative, It appears that I've just been ripped-off for $79.95.
