Don't Buy From Them

I purchased a $3,100 king size bed, box springs and frame from the Sleepy's Dickson City, PA store. When it was first delivered the box springs sloped to the center and pieces were off and hanging off the box spring. I contribute the the damages to the delivery guys manipulating the box springs to try to get them to lay flat. After the delivery guys telling me this is normal and leaving I called my sales person and descriped the problem. He suggested I call "customer service" and descripe the problem and I told him "no" you call you are the sales person. He did call and then told me before they do anything he is going to send "cutomer service" to take a look at the bed. The next day "customer service" came to the house. When they came I asked them if they were "customer service" and they looked at me confused. It turns out they were another set of delivery people. After looking at the bed and trying to manipulate it once again we came to the determination that the box springs were not laying properly and that parts were off the box spring. I then called my sales person again and he arraged from two new box springs and two bed frames to be delivered that week. The reason they were bringing two bed frames was because they weren't sure if the box springs would sit properly so they told me I could choose which one I felt worked best. Delivery was setup between 4pm and 8pm. This meant I would need to leave work early to be there. At exactly 8:38pm I recevied a call saying that the delivery guys were running late and should be there aroung 9:30 pm. An hour and a half outside the delivery window. At around 9:40pm I recieved a call saying the delivery people got a flat and would not be there. This is after I sat around all night waiting for them. I told the lady to have a manager call me first thing in the morning. At 9:30am I called 1800sleepys and the ignorant woman told me there were no managers to talk to me. I told the woman I wanted the box spring and bed frames delivered that night and since I have already sat around for entire night could she have them come between 5pm-7pm so I would not have to sit around and wait all night. She said they operate in 4hr windows and that the trucks are already gone for the day and if I wanted they could come the following day between 6pm and 10pm. At this point I told her have them come at that time and pick the broken bed up and I will stop payment on my card. She replied rudely that this is not an option. I then hung up on her and called American Express and they told me no problem they would hold payment to Sleepy's if I choose to do so. I told American Express I would let them know and they said I have till Dec. 29th to decide. I then called the mattress unprofessional back and told them to come the following day between 6pm and 10pm and if it's not corrected I will stop payment and if they want there junk back they could come and get it. Tomorrow is sleepy's big and last shot at correcting this nightmare. At this point I would suggest to anyone looking to buy a new mattress, AVOID SLEEPY'S AT ALL COSTS. They are the worst company in the world to deal with. I am in sales myself and I would never treat my customers this poorly or let any issue get to this point.
