I purchesed a CVS gift card for my hubby, for it reads, "Good as cash" with limits of purchasing 1) Not able to purches another gift card. 2) Not able to purches a money order. It does not state, you can not purches cigarettes, alcohol, lottory ticket's, anything on sale nor anything you buy with a coupon. I think it should be against the law, since none of these conditions are stated on the card nor on the card holder that it comes in, nor does it state anything about special conditions might apply nor anything about store to store policys.
When I called customer service they told me that these conditions do not have to be listed on the gift card, which I have confirmed with BBB to be untrue after I was asked to fax them a copy of the gift car & the packaging it came in. Bottom line is CVS Pharmacy is a fraud and will soon get a very unplesant visit from the BBB.
