I bought this satellite system because I was told there was a $99 rebate. After the system was installed, I waited for the first bill to come so that I could mail the rebate in together. (Which I did not get for a month because they wrote the wrong address down).
On Dec 16 I mailed all the paperwork in and from there was told to wait 6 to 8 weeks for the rebate. A little over 2 months after not receiving the rebate, I called Prime TV where they told me that because I did not sign one of the forms (that in fact, the installation guy should of had me sign before he even left my house) that my rebate became void because now I am over the 60 days of filing the rebate.
So in other words, Prime TV got my rebate, noticed that I did not sign one area, filed it and waited for me to call after the 8 weeks of thinking my rebate was coming and telling me. Oh sorry your over the 60 day period. Not at any time did this company try to contact me or mail me back my paperwork to tell me to sign and resubmit, because had they I would of had over 2 weeks to get it back to them in the 60 day period.
I feel like this company deliberately saw and waits for people to make these errors and then let it run over there 60 day period so that they dont have to honor the rebate. I feel like they stole from me. The other thing is that I went over the paper work with the installation guy that I was to send in for the rebate 2 or 3 times and he looked over the paperwork and said that looks fine and to now wait for your first bill to come and send it all in together.
