I was also ripped off by consolidated Media Services. I got a phone call from a fast talking, southern dral sales person. They told me what I thought to be a one time payment for numerous magazine subscriptions and sounded like a good deal. So I reluctantly gave out my credit card no. For what I thought to be only one payment.
After getting a second credit card bill I found that they had charged another payment to it. I called the company to fix the error and they told me that couldn't change it because I owed them 10 more payments. I told them that it was suppose to be only one payment and if I had known it was 12 payments I would never had ordered the magizines.
So I tried to cancel the subscriptions and they told me that it had been more then 10 days since I have recieved my contract and couldn't cancel.
So I called my credit card company and had them stop all payments and I canceled the card and got a new one. And know there is a collection agency bugging me.
