It's the same old song. I ordered a book for $70 on October 31 through Amazon.com. Ran into the RIP OFF complaints a few days later.
Having not received my book, I emailed International/Proquo Nov 21, receiving a reply the same day saying that it sometimes takes up to 21 business days to ship and suggesting that I wait a week or two longer (sound familiar?).
Still no book as of Dec 2, so I emailed that I would expect either the book or a refund by Dec 7, at which time I would complain to Amazon and the Baltimore BBB. They replied on Dec 3 asking that I give them time to "look into it."
It's Dec 10, and still no book or further correspondence from them. I've instituted a complaint/refund process at Amazon and have filed complaints at the Baltimore BBB and here.
