Upon signing a contract with this daycare in the second month they owner had canceled 3 days total without a notice. On the 3 event that was a non-emergency I told the care provide she was in breech of contract and that I would be done with her daycare after my prepaid time was up. She then had her husband (my husbands co-worker) call and harass myself and my husband at our work and home. Since this has happened we have never been contacted by the actual owner. This company falsely created a withdrawal notice to go along with there contract that reads they are to have a 30 day notice when leaving there service. I informed the business of there breech and gave a verbal notice on Nove 7. The owner created a document that was never signed by me to say that I was withdrawing on Nov 18, I was paid up until Nov 30 and informed the owner on the 7th that this would be my last day due to her refusal of services that I had paid for. I was forced into quiting my job on Nov 18th due to my daycare issues, I never told the owner any other dates other than the 7th. The owner came back with I owed her $203 for the month of December because she was holding me to the 30 day notice and then she wanted me to sign a document saying the 18th was my last day. I never complied because that was invalid. She than sent her husband to collect from my husband at there work location. They threatned to take us to court I knew I could win because of the breech and that they had others in the home watching children with no consent from the parents on top of other issues. With the holidays comming up we did not want to be thrown into a court battle. We came to an agreement to settle on half and then when she created the contract she tacked on another 10 dollars in late fees. We paid 100 dollars to a business that refused us service and charged us for services that we were unable to use 23 days after they refused to provide the daycare we paid them for. I signed the doc to make them stop calling and harassing my husband at work. This company is a scam they offer services, have you sign a contract and then harass you to make you give them monies that is not rightfully theres. They should be put out of business.
