My husband and I were unsatisfied with the services we were receiving from this daycare provider. She was often absent from the daycare, closed on a moment's notice, did not display her license prominently and was negative and rude towards parents. There were a great number of unsavory practices that she participated in and we decided our needs would be better suited by another child care facility. Upon leaving the daycare, the provider decided to wage a personal war against us, calling us and leaving threatening and rude voicemails. She did not want to give us a year end tax statement and blew her top when we asked for one. She threatened multiple times to sue us for money she stated we owed, when in fact it was due to her incorrect math.
Weeks after the issues were resolved, this provider took it upon herself to call every daycare in our town and black ball us from them. She told each daycare that we are neglectful parents, that we are always late when picking up our child and that we never pay on time. Three statements which are untrue and can be inquired about through our other daycares that witness our proper parental behavior. No daycare in our town will accept us as a new client due to her statements. This is slander and should not be tolerated. There was no possible way to leave this woman's service on good terms. She takes things incredibly personal and has now caused us a hardship in finding appropriate child care.
I really would like a retraction of her statements as well as a statement of admittance to her slander/defamation of me and my family.
