Bendaroos web site is designed to cheat the buyer, plain and simple. The order form claims to be secure, but it is not.in fact, entering your credit card number on this site is a dangerous security risk. You can quickly tell this because the website is http and not https.
Furthermore, after you try to buy the original Bendaroos product, it tries to upsell you on everything they can think of. After a series of 5 upsells that I denied, the site crashed on me and did not confirm the order. I sent an email and received no response. The website does not list a phone number so calling them was impossible until I got their phone number from usacomplaints.com.
The following day I received an email saying I purchased multiple units. Furthermore, I am in California and it said that it was charging me sales tax and going to take 4 to 6 weeks to arrive. If they are in CT, how can they charge me CA sales tax? If they have operations in CA, why is it going to take 4-6 weeks?! If they stuck the product in the standard US mail it would only take 5 days to go from coast to coast.
I have been trying to cancel this purchase for a whole day. The problem is that I think others are trying to do the same and they are refusing to assist customers in a timely manner. I plan on reversing charges and declining anything they ship.
I recommend others to go to (compeitor's name redacted) and buy the knock off version of this product for less and you will receive it in 3 to 5 days, depending on the seller. The product seems to be the same as Bendaroos, but without the headaches and excessive price.
