Today is July 2. I ordered 3 troll sets order # 4646 for $1,214.97 and my credit card was charged on 5/19.
Their site said they were in stock.
I ordered an additional troll set on 5/27, said to be in stock, and my credit card was charged $404.99
After numerous telephone calls, and emails, with promises of shipment and even being told they were shipped, and promises of documentation thereof, today I had to leave a message to cancel my orders and demanded a credit to my credit card. The person who I talked to was a clerk in "The Parts Store" and was informed that the "battery people" were not in the store.
I feel that this is a possible fraudulent operation. I have been lied to. Now I have to register a dispute with my credit card company, and if money is not returned promptly, register a wire fraud complaint, and call the police department in their home town.in addition, I will have to register a complaint with Johnson Controls, the manufacturer of Optima Batteries.
