Silver Lake Builders sold a job through the Housing Authority of Snohomish County. The owners of the project did not like the owner of Silver Lake Builders and did not want him back on the job. I, the salesman, became the laborer. The housing authority paid Silver Lake Builders as each part of the project was completed. I was to be paid my hours and materials bought by me
were to be reimbersed from the money given to Siver Lake. My paycheck of $1892.00 bounced.
I am owed $4500.00 in hours and materials.
Although the owner Willy Istvan, has been paid by The Housing Authority of Snohomish County, he expects me to put a lien on the property where the work was performed.
The company is heartless, the owner of the property is bedriden.
The project manager from HASCO, who promised I would be paid, is no longer with the department. The new Manager states "the only winner is Silver Lake Builders".
I knew I was representing the wrong contractor when I saw that they did not flash a new door installed, did not use a 3-4-5, method to square the new deck, and the footers were poured directly into the earth and not deep enough to avoid heaving in case of severe freezing.
They hired a plumber under the table to install a knew tiled bathroom that was not to code.
Cavete emptore/BUYER BEWARE!
