I know this company by reading their website www.arsenalvanlines.com. I read "Arsenalvanlines Inc. There is no middleman. You deal directly with us. There are no agents or brokers to cause an increase in price due to commissions or fee's. This is how we earned our reputation for dependability and customer satisfaction...". All these words are lies... This is my story
On 11/14 I made the arrangement with this company to move some my belongings from Alabama to Texas with the price 973.00 USD including picking up and delivering inside the house. THey picked up my merchandise on Friday morning. I paid them 60% of the total amount in cash on the picking -up day. I thought everything will be fine because the pick-up man is pretty good and nice. But we had a lot of troubles going on the delivery day. The company called me and tell me if they can deliver my merchandise on saturday afternoon (11/15) or Sunday morning 11/16). They don't let me know exactly the time and date. The delivery man called my fiance in Texas at 4:46 p. M and left an message " call him back". My fiance called him back at 6:00P.M. He yelled at my fiance about calling my fiance all saturday day for delivery. My finance said he had his phone with him and only 1 mised call at 4:46 and an message. My fiance checked his phone statement online. It's only 1 his call phone incoming at 4:46. And he wanted my fiance pay him 180.00 for return his phone call late plus 506.00 amount due. I tried to call the company and ask them to take care this. They told me everything will be fine and he will deliver another 2hours. I only need to pay 506.00. And what happened in my fiance house. The driver drove his truck to my finace house. He argued with my finace and ordered to pay him 506.00 and 180.00 in cash only to have my merchandise or if we don't pay the extra charges, he would put our belongings into the warehouse. I tried to call the company and leave the messages. Nobody called me back. I talked with the delivery man. He told me " He doesn't work for the company, nobody is his boss. He works for himself" and hang up. He was very rude. It means this company sub-contract for him. He doesn't care. I was so mad and told my fiance let him go with my merchandise. He pretended to drive the truck away and then, he turned his truck back to call my fiance for negotiation the price down 150.00. My fiance was so stress about it. He wanted it over. He had to pay for him. And what next, my fiance had them to carry all of the merchandise into the house (Even though the delivers will carry them as the contract) because another man is too old for carrying the heavy things.
I called the company and explained everything. He promised he will call me back about 150 usd. He never call me back till now.
I wouldn't recommend this company. They have a very bad services: Cheating on the customers
