I had an extremely poor experience with Nationwide Moving Services and their "movers" in October and needed to tell others about them. I contracted with Stephanie in early October to move my family and I from Mississippi in mid-October. I specifically asked whether or not they had their own trucks and they told me in fact that they did and it would be them picking up our stuff. They arrived 2 days later than scheduled which we could live with but the odd part was that the movers showed up with a rental truck and when I asked the driver what the deal was he politely replied " Nationwide is a broker and we do some moves for them" which was the first surprise since I was never told that in the first place even though I asked Stephanie that question from the door. Second problem, the way they handled my belongings was totall unprofessional and when I questioned them they became irate and said "do you want me to unload and leave?" when I said that I thought that was a good idea he said, it would cost me $500.00 since he already started loading and was only a quarter of the way finished. I let them finish the move. That was my fault, when I asked when they anticipated delivery I was then told within 14 days after Nationwide moving services rep told me 3-5 or so. It actually took 10 days to my dismay and we had many broken items. Nationwide did nothing to help us and rectify the situation which left us in a bad situation.in short, I would not recommend this company to others and would strongly suggest more research adn a better moving company to do business with.
