When I signed up for Verizon Phone service I was told my bill would be about $80 per month. My average bill is $180. Per month. I don't call out of state. My Long Distance charges are about $30. They've tacked on non-basic charges of $22. I called to dipute several phone bills and they shut my phone off and charged me $26 to reconnect. Customer Service has hung up on me several times. Verizon is a monopoly - They'll be out of business the minute competition is introduced in the market.
