Trans United Moving lured me in with a low quote and then never delivered my household goods to my new location. Due to the loss of important documents that were in the file cabinet they never delivered, I wasn't able to complete the paperwork at the school district where I had been offered a job and, consequently, another candidate was hired in my place. I lost everything—approximately $20,000 worth of furniture and other household and personal items.
Once they failed to deliver, I called to ask what the problem was, and they wouldn't return my phone calls, except once (4 weeks after the delivery date) to demand payment for the move, which they claimed to have completed. They would not offer me any tangible proof that they had indeed moved my belongings to the new location—they said they would tell me where to get my belongings after I paid them the balance. Not knowing when and where I would be able to find new employment and completely lacking any trust in this mover, I decided to hold onto my money and start all over again.
Trans United Moving ruined my life. Please do not use this company, and cover yourself better than I did by investigating your potential moving company before you hand them you possessions and/or money.
