Ordered a sealcoat tank in April. Sent Tim a certified check for $1825 (as he had asked for). He cashed the check immediately, but never sent the tank. For weeks he had several excuses and false promises and then he stopped answering phone, changed phone #'s, shut down e-mail, etc. After googling the name Tim Trost I realized I had been scamed. He did the same thing to numerous others, same scam. I called the FBI, the internet crimes commission, the Pontiac Illonois Sheriffs Dept., Pontiac Illonois city Police Dept., NY state Attorney General, Illonois Attorney General, Pontiac Illonios Better Business Bureau, and Pontiac Illonois Consumer Complaints. Guess what? Noone would help me even though all the organizations in pontiac Illonois knew what he was doing. They said it was a CIVIL matter. Stealing people's money over the internet is a CIVIL matter? Wow! Tim did send me a check in October for $200, promising me the remainder ($1625) to be sent out as soon as possible. Guess what? Two years later and still waiting! This are the ABOLUTE FACTS and I have retained all of the letters and e-mails of correspondence between myself, Tim Trost, and all the agencies mentioned.
