We own rental property in Caldwell, ID and in July we hired Lawrence & Associates in Boise to manage our rented property. One day prior to receiving their failed business email (August 21) they deposited our tenants "first" rental check into their account. We had never established a working relationship with them other than signing a contract and turning over the keys. It is quite clear Lawrence & Associates were aware of their failing business and planned this theft prior to closing the doors. They also have a business in Colorado and Arizona.
Lawrence & Associates has our rental money and our keys. Their web site is down and their phone numbers have been disconnected along with their email. Anyone who illegally retains customer's deposits WILL perform other illegal acts.
