In may I took a job with Prime Inc. I'm an owner/operator just looking for runs in my area with back to back runs. They promised they could do this so I listed with them but had to use their flatbed trailer instead of mine and had to get a Qualcom put in my truck that would cost me $800 TOTAL AT $100 per week. They gave me a peice of paper explaining how to use it along with everyones instructions then sent me right out to load. I picked up a load in springfield, mo going to Katy, tx.
When I was done unloading I did what they call transflo thats where the truckstop scans all of your required paperwork and they send it to Prime Inc. You get a comfirmation number for your records. Anyway I Hauled four more loads after that but kept waiting for pay from first load, it didn't happen. They gave no explanation why so being ripped by other companies I told them I quit. We had no contract requiring any load amount before you quit so I brougt their Qualcom back and trailer back. They checked them out ok'd them and sent me to payroll. I gave them paperwork they gave me estimated pay with promise to send rest later.
That never happened because they charge $120 fee just to process your paperwork then they chared me for damange to a tire but when they ck'd it when I dropped they said the trailer was fine. Then I asked how come I never got paid for my first load they said I didn't file it right even though I filed it with their own set-up.
