Sprint
We Think billing for services not rendered

Received a bill supposedly from Sprint. Uses their logo and a post office box in Jacksonville, FL. Called the 800-349-1923, first time got a female voice but she did not say Sprint so I asked who? Total silence. Called back, got immediate recording "Press one for English" - Nothing saying it was Sprint. After a few "please hold" it shoots you over to voice mail and wants your phone number to call you back. Didn't leave it. Think this is a scam because (1) we had a death in the family at the time the call was supposed to be made (2) our long distance carrier is locked in so if it was a direct dialed number it would not have gone through Sprint (3) the 'bill' has a collection agency threat on it.

I've reported it to FTC (1-877-382-4357) and cc'd them on the letter. Federal Trade Commission Attn: CRC-240, Washington, DC 20580.

I've sent copies of the bill and my response to the USPS too, using the form here: http://postalinspectors. Uspis. Gov/radDocs/ps8165. Pdf
(hey, it came through the US Mail and mail fraud is a punishable offence).
