This complaint is almost identical to one I saw filed by someone in Yakima, WA, so I can only imagine that this is how the company trains its salespeople to behave.
Long story short - 9 pm... Guy saying he is with APX Honeywell Home Security knocks on door (and dressed from head to toe in "APX Honeywell" logoed clothng), proceeds to ask about 10 questions that are 1) requests for private information and 2) creepy 3) strange and 4) high-pressure sales tactics, such as "Are you married?" "Do you and your wife have similar work schedules" etc.
Finally when I said "really, we're not interested" for about the 3rd time, he just turns and walks away. No "have a good night" or "thanks for your time" or anything. And this is Texas. People are supposed to be friendly out here!
Blah blah blah, this company sucks, and you will feel like your house is being cased for a burglary when they come to your door selling their services/product and masquerading as a Honeywell subsidiary. I would avoid this company like the plague, especially after seeing all the other complaints about them here.
Do I even need to say how annoying late night door-to-door selling is? It's right up there with telemarketing...
