I bought a T-Mobile phone on 9-23-02, the Samsung R225. I was promised a 89.00 rebate from the Voice Stream company if I sent all my information in by 10-31-02. I sent all my info in and everything they asked for; original receipt, original UPC codes copy of my original contract. Now it has been over 2 months and I received a letter stating that my rebate has been denied because I didn't activate my phone within the limited time, which they are stating ended on 8-31-02. On the papers the T-Mobile office gave me and I sent in to them it states on there that it didn't end until 10-31-02. Can they not read? Now I have to wait another 30 days for them to see if I am right, and then probably another 30 days to get a check.
Although I am not happy with the rebate thing, T-Mobile themselves have been great! My phone works excellent, my service is good and the customer service I receive when I have to call in, is very quick and efficient. I just don't like the deceiving crap you get with the rebates. So I will keep you updated and see if I ever get my rebate...
