For twenty years, I have had the same home phone number, provided by Bell South, and have always paid on time, never disconnected! Three months ago, AT&T took control of our service... They've disconnected our service, three months in a row! Also, they've added a large reconnect charge each month.
I pay all our bills, online, on the same day, every month, and have for many years. I've never had to pay a late charge for anything! I've never paid an overdraft fee at my banks.
Now, I've discovered that AT&T has billed me, for three months, for services from "other companies", totally unfimiliar to me. These combined "charges for other companies" total over $100.
I now have cancelled service with AT&T, and added Comcast digital voice, at a huge monthly savings!
