Nadine Media ripoff dishonest fraud billing the lady impersonated a rep from a subscription I had and already had my credit card numbe

I subscribed to a magazine company that gave me 4 magazines that i chose for 4 years and i had one more payment left with them. About 2 weeks ago around dec 10th my husband received a phone call. He told me that someone from a magazine company wants to verify our credit card information. I told him to forget it. I told him to tell her that we will call her back.

The lady said that they were lowering the rates, but it was one time deal. I told her that she had to give me my information and then i would tell her if anything changed. I thought this was the right thing to do at the time but it obviously wasn't. I asked her what magazines did i subscribe to, and she knew them all. She then asked to talk to my husband and took his information down.

She said that it was because he was military, that was why she could do the discount and it had to be under his name. Then she said that our last payment due will be the lower amount. Well, today i checked my bank statement online and saw the regular charge from the mag company i subscribed to and a different charge from a company called GLOBAL with their number next to it.

I called that number and wanted to know why i was charged twice and they said they were a magazine company and looked up the account and said that they only charged me once and that only my husband could call to make any changes. So i made my husband call. The "process manager" said they only charged us once. Later during the day, something told me to call my original subscription people. They told me that i got scammed. That they did not solicit that and did not give out my credit card number and suggested that i tell visa about it.

I then called the "GLOBAL" people. The girl i talked to (Keysha) said that i was refunded the money and told me that i didn't know how to read my statement. We got into an argument about how to read a statement (i've been doing my bills for years now, i know what a refund looks like on a statement). She continued and told me that the account was closed out on dec 11th and that it was impossible for them to have charged me on dec 12th.

(smart people know that there is normally a few days between the actual transaction and the one on the statement). Everytime i asked her something about the account she would cut me off and tell me to ask my husband and that she didn't know. I asked for her manager and of course her manager was conveniently on vacation. I asked her what i could do and she said "i don't know, whatever you want to". It got very aggravating, so i asked how they got my credit card number.

After some more runarounds, she finally told me that she only worked in the processing department and that the telemarketing company does the work for them and they got our information from NADINE MEDIA TELEMARKETING!!! I looked up nadine media online and saw this usacomplaints.com site and saw a story similar to mine. I am so mad. I want my money back and i want to see them get what they deserve for their actions.
