I've worked in call centers before, but none were as bad as this one was. If you're thinking about a career with Novo 1, remember well the words "Buyer beware". I was offered a job with Novo 1 about two months ago to work at the call centers main campaign, GE. My job would have been to provide roadside assistence to AARP and Verizion members. However, for the amount of pressure and strees involved in this job, the pay was much too low. What's worse, we have to adhere to a very strict script with virtually no room for error; with every little mistake marked off.

The amount of training, not to mention the quality of it was also substandard, in my opinion. My classmates were rude and disruptive, and I was unable to learn anything the instructor was teaching. When we were sent out to the floor for on-the-job training, I was so ill-prepared, I found myself freezing when a call came in.

My whole experience with Novo 1 has been akin to working in a sweatshop. When a better position with another company presented itself, I immediately jumped at the chance. I haven't looked back.

Please heed my warnings about this company. If you've worked at other call centers, be prepared to see the worst example of that line of business.

Buyer beware.
