We bought a very nice Whirlpool refrederator from Lowe's. We filled out the paperwork, checked it twice, and sent it off. Nothing happened.
I went to the store (the 800 number operator had no record of our purchase). The customer service rep double-checked the paperwork, gave me a duplicate receipt, and advised me to try again.
I did that twice more. The manager was unhelpful, as the rebates did not "come from this store."
I'm still looking for the promised $100, and it's been over a year. I spent that much in gas and man-hours.
