I ordered two belts for a Bernina sewing machine on 4th June. Payment was taken from my credit card on 5th June. Since then I have heard nothing despite emailing them several times. They refuse to answer.
A google search for "sewingstyle.com reviews" revealed that I am not alone. I have not phoned as it appears they do not answer the phone either and for me it would be a transatlantic call.
Aaron Kocourek cannot be allowed to continue scamming people like this. Although my loss was quite small - 17 ($32), I am determined to stop him continuing with this scam. He lures buyers in by claiming to stock hard-to-find items for sewing machines.
In 10 years of buying online I have never had this happen to me before and I would like to prevent it happening to others.
I have reported this to Tennessee Better Business Bureau who say they have numerous complaints about this company. I have also reported it to the Tennessee Consumer Complaints but as yet I have not heard from them.
