A friend of mine asked me to purchase a cd for her from Tower Records, via tower.com, as she didn't have a credit card.
The order was made on March 27th.
A month later, we still did not recieve the cd. I called Tower Records and the customer service representative told me that the cd was not even in stock and they would have to make a special order for it and then ship it to me.
We waited and waited and forgot about the order - until today, July 2, as I was cleaning my email inbox I came across the old invoice and remembered that they still hadn't shipped the item yet.
So I called Tower Records, told them that it has been over 3 months with no sign of the cd and that is was completely unacceptable. I didn't even have to argue with them. They quickly offered a refund and immediately hung up, as if to avoid any critical commentary.
This was my first and last time ordering from this company. I do not recommend them to anyone.
