We were contacted by Alex Morga at Strategic Marketing after filling out an online form at VendorSeek.com for telemarketing services. I asked Alex several times on the phone and through email how much the whole telemarketing campaign would cost us. He said $998 including the lead list with the criteria that we wanted. After sending them a cashiers check for $998 and a signed "Service Level Agreement" we started getting the run around. No one would call us back and the emails we sent were returned with very vague responses. They were supposed to send a lead list of prospects that their telemarketers would call but we could never get them to send them to us. After receing emails from Meredith Ball who sent us our New Client Letter explaining their sales process, Darren Paulson became our main point of contact and everytime we demanded the lead list and call schedule for approval he would not provide it. He said that our lead list would cost more money even though we have it in writing on an email from Alex Morga that it would not. Strategic Marketing was to begin making calls 10-14 business days from the time we filled out a New Client Questionairre from them.
To date it is over 25 days and nothing has happened. They will not give us a refund and can show no prood that they have done any actual work. We have no lead list, no call schedule, and when we complained to the attorney general of Arizona they sent Darren Paulson a letter. He responded saying that we were holding up the process because we werent using one point person for our company. We also did some digging and found out that the address that Strategic Marketing uses is actually the lobby of an office building in Scottsdale. Darren Paulson switches phone numbers often too. We have 3 numbers for him.
We began this process with Strategic Marketing on 5/12/08 and we still have not resolved our issues with them. Darren Pauslon finally called me on 6/26/08 and argued with me about the cost of the leads again. I told him that his company has not provided a provable service for the money we sent them and that we want a refund so that we can go our sepeate ways. He said he would call me back about a partial refund and when I texted him later that day about it he said he would think about it. The bottom line is that this so called company has to be stopped. Myself and my colleagues are committed to getting our money back and bringing these guys down. Stay away from this company as well as VendorSeek.com and let me know if you would like to join me in trying to catch these scam artists.
