I received a phone call in October 02 from this company and they stated that I had filled out an online application 6 months ago to receive a Mastercard. I had filled out plenty of applications so I just went along with it. They offered me a $2500 Mastercard with 0% interest and I will be able to use this card anywhere and also at any ATM machines. They also said that I would be able to get $500 cash advances if I requested it. All of this will cost me $269.00. It sounded like a good offer so I gave them my account information.
They told me that it would take 10-14 business days to receive my card. It's been a month now and I still have not received my card or any reason why it is taking so long. I called the customer service company that they are using (Elite Customer Service) and all they did was take down my name and info. And they will forward the message on to CCS. They told someone would call me from CCS within a week. No one ever called. I called them a second time and I went through the same process. Still no one has called. I recently called them to request a refund and again I went through the same process and someone is supposed to call me within the next week. Which I doubt someone will call.
This company is breaking the law and I want to put a stop to it. If David the Supervisor will let me know how I can contact him then maybe we can get together and try to put a stop to this frauduent company.
Also the Federal Trade Commision filed a Civil Action Suit against CCS in 1998.ccS was then prohibited from misrepresenting that consumers would receive: an unsecured line of credit of any stated amount without restrictions. Cash advances of any stated amount or a credit card that is represented to be a general credit card to be used to buy goods or services from numerous merchants.
With this information that they have broken the law again I believe I may have a good case against them.
