I have a commercial icemaker that quit making ice. I had a reputable appliance repairman come out to give me a diagnosis. The unit was low on freon, but he did not have the correct type of freon. I paid the service charge, and expected a follow up visit in a couple days. That's when the trouble began... He subbed it out to the number one rip off artist in Texas... Gil Hagemann of Appliance Masters. Gil spent 30 minute at my house in which he put 4 oz. Of freon in the unit (he charged me for 12 oz.) and charged me almost $200!! I was ticked off, but I just wanted to get it fixed and let it go. He said the unit was fixed. Turns out it was not. At that point began a excrutiating 7 week journey of broken promises, non returned phone calls, and just not giving a damn how he treated me as a customer. This loser does not have a customer service bone in his body.in the end, I went back to the reputable repair man I started with and after Gil would not even call him back, I had my money fully refunded. I was very fortunate. I don't want to see this guy get anyone elses money. He doesn't deserve it.
