I received a bill for services from LiBerty ONline which I never agreed to. The billing company was ILD Telecommunications. I had talked to a representative from Liberty ONline and agreed to let them put my business in their directory, but only, if it did not cost me one penny. Two people I talked to assured me it would cost nothing. My husband discovered charges on our next phone bill and the only # I had to call was ILD. I emailed them and called them.
When I called them they graciously gave me the phone # for Liberty Online. ILD is merely the billing service and has nothing to do with the telemarketing and/or misrepresenting of what we thought we were getting.
I received a very nice email from ILD stating they would help me resolve the problem.
I had, in the meantime, called Liberty Online and was able to have my charges cancelled and they agreed to credit my account. I have not received the fax from Liberty yet with the assurrance.
I plan to keep a constant watch on this until I do receive what they promised.
If they were truly on the up and up, why didn't they send a confirmation of what they were doing.
Again, ILD, is not apart of what Liberty Online is doing.
