Complete scam.
-Charged my phone bill, sent my a conspicuous piece of mail overly stating that I had authorized charges to my phone bill.
-"CSR" was unusually rude to me, their "customer", which tells me they don't really have customers just suckers.
-"CSR" assumed I was calling to cancel service, even though I didn't indicate this through voice menus or verbally.
-"CSR" was overly cooperative in canceling, but said it would take two billing cycles - sounds like they're buying time trying to stay alive long enough to steal more money.
I'll be awaiting this credit. AT&T allowed this charge to occur and I was told they could not remove it, I'm not sure if this is by gov't regulation or not but it caused me dissatisfaction with AT&T as well. If this were a $500, what could I do? Policies that allow this to occur have potential to bury consumers/customers in a financial grave. Not cool.
