On the very date of my move i had to contact top notch/orbit valines, to move me due to anoter issue i had with another moving company named (only us moving/any city any state (online name) which i will report them later.instead of them showing up the next day for the move, top notch sent another company to do the job. Top notch did not inform me of this, nor did they informthe other co., that they, top notch, took a credit card deposit from me previously. So top notch never informed the sub-moving company of this. When the other movers discovered that they were not getting a deposit, they left the job for that reason (did not trust receiving deposit $ from top notch & due to previous dealings with top notch they had suffered loss due bouncing checks, etc.). From june 7th -june 10th my stuff remained in the rental property costing me more money to my landlord. Top notch gave me the run around and on the third day sent another mover from their office. With the same stuff i had preiously boxed, this mover came in and said that ihave more cubic feet then i submitted to them so in addition tothe original quote of $1,547.00, i would have to pay $1,500 more. I was outraged. This is a scam and a ripoff at its finest. I had to wait until the next (4th) day to call their office and to find out why this happened. I explained that i don't know cubic feet, but i know what i had to be moved and i gave them that exact list.
If there was an error in cu. Ft. It was their fault. I ask for a refud on my deposit due to all of the problems and errors they caused. Bill, the manager, tld me i needed to speak to the supervisor, ian or ramili who was not there and to call back. After several attemps to reach them, bill finally to me that they discussed it and he would not refund my money, that i should dispute it with the bank. I revealed that i was a paralegal and i have other resources to resolve this matter in my favor and to their detriment. When i called back several minutes later, the receptionist, who is in on the scam too, immediately blurted out, "i have just refunded your money". I asked her for the i.D. # which she gave me and she told me to wait 48 hours to the refund. Bill, ray, juan, jimmy, the receptionist and ramilishould all be arrested for their underhanded dealings. If you guys out there want to start a class action lawsuit against these scum bags, please respond to me so that we canacheive this and put these bums outof business. Then this should deter the other moving co. From continuing these deceptive tactics.
