Got into a deal with Top Notch Cars Buckhead (which the owner Carole approached me about) regarding leasing a car. The car was to arrive in 3 weeks starting in Nov. So I had to rent a car until then. And the owner stated later that the car would not arrive till the end of dec however she would pay for the 2nd month due to the fact I had to wait on the vehicle. Its now Dec 23 and the owner informs me that she has backed out of the deal completely due to someone ELSE stealing a car from her. However when I went to her Website I seen the car that was told to me as stolen listed as rented. There are some shady things going on with this company.
I have spent over $1200 in renting a car and that money that could have been used for a new car is now wasted because she backed out. I have text messages and emails for over 2 mths of her telling me about when the car was to arrive and her agreeing to pay for the rental. I also have a contract that she drew up
for me, however she was checking on insurance for me so it never got signed. Now is its the end of the month I have no car and am out of $1200. When I confronted the owner directly she cursed at me and insisted that I leave her alone. Beware about this business Im not sure what there up to however its not trustworthy and they do not keep there word.
