I was in the Navy in 19 years old, and just got stationed in San Diego, Ca. I was downtown for the first time checking things out at Horton Mall, when I was approached by a man offering me a free cd. I asked what the catch was and he said I just needed to listen to a new sales pitch they have going on across the street. I agreed. They started a pitch about receiving a new Canon camera, not a disposable one, and free film for the rest of my life. It sounded pretty good. So again, I asked what the catch was, and all they said was I needed to sign a form stating that I had been there and that I had heard the sales pitch. I never gave my social security number, address, or any other personal information, but some how they got ahold of it. Now ABC Finance says I signed a contract with them and my original debt was $1595.00, but they have since sent my "account" to a collection agency who now say I owe ABC Finance $2970.67. I have never recieved any merchandise, or coupon booklets from either Photo World or ABC Finance. It is now and ABC Finance is still trying to get me pay them.
