We had 4 phone lines with AT&T with unlimited long distance at a cost of $450 per month. They offered to lower our bill to $250 per month by signing a contract which I did.
The next bill I got was for $2300. They were charging me for each individual call. I complained to the Georgia Public Service Commision and AT&T gave me a credit for the individual call cost.
In the mean time I decided to shop around with AT&T's competitors after going through an incredible amount of hassle and decided to switch to Vonage.
AT&T sent me a final bill for over $5000 in retaliation for the fact that I dropped their service. I had never paid more than $450 per month for their service in the past.
In general their customer service people have been rude, abusive, and pushy.
There is no "good customer service ethic" at this company.
I would be interested in joining any class action lawsuits against thi company.
