I am writing this report on behalf of a Chandler customer who wishes to remain anonymous. Let me preface my complaint by stating that I also conduct business online and am offended by the poor customer service of this company.in general, consumers are already skeptical of online transactions - they do not need another company to add to their insecurity!
About 2 weeks ago, a member of my household ordered a custom pick guard from Chandler's web site. He was informed that the order would take two weeks to process. The two weeks elapsed and he wrote the company to find out the status of his order. The reply he received was completely OBNOXIOUS AND UNPROFESSIONAL. "Oh. Yeah. Hope you had a good Memorial Day weekend too!", they replied (he wrote them the Tuesday after Memorial Day).
That comment was completely unwelcome! What happened to being polite? Why does this company not have a standard email template or script that can be used to correspond with customers? Where are the supervisors monitoring their employees to ensure they are offering good customer service?
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM CHANDLER MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS:
1. They obviously hate people and are tortured by having to deal with them (based on their ridiculous attitude).
2. Apparently, they would like to leave you hanging for 2 weeks and YOU will have to be the one to demand an update on your order.
The pick guard was delivered this week, but with the poor service given, it is no longer a symbol of craftsmanship, but instead a reminder of a BAD EXPERIENCE!
