While reviewing my credit card statement I noticed a charge by a company with which I had never done business.
I got curious and called the company, PMIdentity, It turns out this company is an identity protection service that charges $19.95 a month. I pointed out I had never signed up for identity protection. She asked had I used Intellius recently. I had. Apparently, Intellius automatically signs one up for this identity protection service.
I am furious about being surreptitiously signed up to an identity protection service while using the one-time Intellius search offerring.
I would never have purposefully signed up for identity protection as I have been a Lifelock member for close to 2 years.
This is a company that definitely lacks integrity and I urge all who read this to request that Intellius remove you from their database.
