I was at a local mall with my kids and this woman came up to us and said how pretty my youngest daughter is and asked if she ever thought about modeling or acting. Now of course my daughter said yes so we gave her our contact info and they called the next day.
We set up an appointment and I was told to not bring any money because the interview is free. Well when we got there I was surprised to see about 10 other families waiting. After waiting there for over an hour they finally saw us.
The "director" was nice enough and said all the right things to get my daughter excited about modeling and acting. Once she had her hooked she pulled out a pice of paper that had different photo packages ranging in price from $550 to over $2000.
When I told her that I didn't have the money she said that she didn't want my lack of money to be the reason that we don't pursue this. Then when I told her that I was told to not bring any money she said that the person that told me that was only the guy that makes the appointments and he had no right to tell me that.
She then offered me the $850 package for $550 so I figured that was a good deal and said ok. I gave them a $100 deposit, made an appointment for my daughters photo shoot, signed a paper and left.
Well when I got home I decided to "Google" the company and I saw so many people saying the same thing. The company promises all these things and nothing comes of it. Some of the people didn't even get the pictures of their kids.
All I want is my money back and to let other parents know that this is nothing but a scam.
