I'm contacting to let you guys know of the latest injustice this company is committing. I received a charge for a collect call that I never accepted from Tucson, AZ. I was billed on behalf of OSP Communications. This charge stuck out like a sore thumb not only because it was $20.20 for 14 minutes but also because... My phone like is connected directly to my dsl modem. I am the only person in this home. So sure enough this is the only charge that comes up. I did my best to let ATT know that I am not paying the additional charges. I talked to their fraud department and customer service. I was able to place a cramping block on my number but as for removing the charges the best the fraud department was able to do was place a footnote saying that I am contesting the charges from OSP Comm.
As of now I am still on the line waiting to talk to OSP Communications. A supposively 6 minute wait time has turned about 30minutes.
I just got off the phone with OSP Comms. They did not even let me put in a word in before they told me that my account has already been credited. I called back ATT to verify this and the CustomerService rep just "charged back" the $20.20 to OSP Comm. Immediately. (The actual credit from OSP Communications would not go through for a few weeks according to ATT C.S. Rep.) So I am still to see if OSP Comm. Just wanted to avoid another confrontation.
