Complaint / Review
Chase Receivables
Violates the Fair Credit Collection Act

Okay, I move into a brand new house and get a brand new, unlisted, phone number. It immediately starts ringing. It's Chase Receivables looking for someone named Pricilla Novo. I inform them she doesn't live here and this is a new number. Do they stop calling? Of course not.instead they start calling more. Why? Because they have a life person to answer the phone. They make all kinds of unfounded accusations. I don't know Pricilla Novo. I have almost perfect credit. Yet Chase Receivables keeps calling and harrassing. I have informed them a least 5 times they have the wrong number, yet to this day they keep calling.

It just so happens I am a CA lawyer. So I do some research to find out Chase Receivable's corp. Status in CA is suspended. That means the owner is personally liable for any judgments. If you live in CA and have a valid case against Chase Receivables I recommend you contact a lawyer. Or better yet file a small claims case in your local community. You can get up to $7,500 in CA small claims. But be sure you have a valid case. Do not file a frivolous lawsuit.

Here is there agent for service of process:
