Cincinncati Bell came out and turned our phone on at the pole and then left a yellow tag on the door letting us know that the had turned it on at the pole! We then figured out that none of the jacks were working in our house. I called Cincinnati Bell and found out that it would be quite costly to have the jacks repaired. I then requested to have the service turned off. The girl on the phone informed me that I would have to talk to some one else to get this done. Keep in mind it took a while to get her on the phone to tell me that I would have to wait to talk to somebody else.
So again I was put on hold and then finally hung up after waiting more than twenty minutes on hold to get my phone diconnected. I will admit that I did forget to call them back untill I got the next months bill. I again called them back to get the service disconnected.
When the recording came on for which department I choose the disconnect, so I could skip every one else and go straight to that department. That again was a wasted of time because I got somebody else who could not help me and would have to connect me to that department. So the guy puts me on hold and later (ten minutes or so) gets back on the phone and tells me he will give them my number and note it on my account that I called to have the service disconnected, and that he could see on my account that my service has never been used.
I then again called when I received another bill got put on hold, never got to talk to any one. This is my repeated happenings with Cincinnati Bell.
Finally after months of trying to contact Cincinnati Bell I finally got ahold of a live person and my bill is now over $300.00. They tell me that I either have to pay it or it will go on my credit report. They can see on our account where I've called to try to get it disconnected and that no calls have been made from the house and that we had no working jacks in the house. Then the lady tells me that she can also see where they had tried calling me on the same number that she had already said wasn't working (your joking right). And goes on to tell me that they are going to disconnect it for non-payment.
So my final bill is over $300.00 for a phone I never got to use and from a company that is ripping off their customers.
